GARY W. BATTS MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP

The Gary W. Batts Music Scholarship has been created in memory of CEO Dr. Brooks’ father Mr. Gary Whitney Batts and his love for music and to recognize his ability to empower children to love music and musical instruments. The goal of this scholarship is to provide young music students with an opportunity to attend a summer music camp which they would otherwise not be able to afford. Two students will be offered funding toward the tuition of the camp of their choice.

With the help of supporters, The Ivy League Bound Project will release up to a total of $2,000.

CONSTANCE M. BATTS COMMUNITY SERVICE SCHOLARSHIP

The Constance M. Batts Community Service scholarship was created to honor CEO Dr. Brooks’ mother Mrs. Constance Marie Batts’ dedication to community service and social justice issues. The goal of this scholarship is to support students to attend college and be active and involved in community service while in school. It is designed to transform the students who are directly supported by the program, the college campus and community in which they serve and learn. Recipients of the scholarship are required to do an average of 10 hours per week at a community service site and complete at least one full time summer service internship with TILPB.

With help from supporters, The Ivy League Bound Project will release up to a total of $5,000.
